What does "per location" mean?
A location is a CQC-registered care location, the unit CQC inspects and rates. You take one subscription for each registered location, priced by that location's staff size. Operational sites that run under a single registration, hubs, satellites and dispersed bases, are included at no extra charge. They never add to the bill. If you run more than one CQC-registered location, each takes its own subscription. The staff band and the per-seat allowance capture scale within a location, so a dispersed team working from several bases under one registration pays for one location, not several.
What counts as a "user" or "seat"?
A user is a person with their own named account, password, and audit trail in Verivius. We recommend an account for everyone who acts on records: clinicians, the Registered Manager, the quality lead, and the office staff who route complaints. Shared accounts undermine the audit trail. Small includes 10 user accounts and Standard includes 40. The per-seat rate above the included allowance is published at £6 per user per month. We are not currently billing for accounts above the allowance while the platform is in its early cohort phase. You can add as many accounts as your governance work needs without an extra bill. We will give written notice well in advance of any change to that.
Why a per-seat add-on if the staff band already captures size?
For most locations, the staff band and the headcount that needs a Verivius account line up. A typical Standard location with around 60 staff has around 60 user accounts, well within the 40-user allowance. The per-seat add-on exists for atypical shapes, such as dispersed providers running 100+ staff from one registered location, or PTS operators with a hub-and-spoke model under one registration where the operational footprint is larger than the base staff band suggests. The included allowance is generous enough that typical locations never see a per-seat line. The add-on captures fair cost when they would. We have published the rate but are not currently billing for it (see the user and seat answer above).
Is there an annual discount?
Yes. Paying annually is roughly two months free compared with monthly billing. You can switch between monthly and annual at any renewal point.
Is there a free trial?
The first cohort is running as a paid closed beta with no free trial. Book a 20-minute conversation and we will walk you through the platform live, with sample data, before any billing starts.
Can we move between Small and Standard later?
Yes. Switching is available at any monthly billing cycle from your workspace settings. The next invoice prorates the difference. Every change is recorded in your audit trail.
Does Mock Inspection require an active subscription?
The consultant works from the records inside your Verivius account, so an active subscription is the working assumption. If you need the engagement against a fresh account set up only for the Mock Inspection, raise it on the discovery call and we will sort it.
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are monthly recurring via Stripe, billed in GBP. Mock Inspection engagements are billed on the engagement letter: 50% deposit on signature, balance on delivery of the final report. Invoices are issued by Verivius Ltd.
